This was a difficult exercise for me. On my first pass I chose 25 images and then began to whittle the number down. I selected my five, then made substitutions several times and finally settled on these five...for various reasons.

 I'm excited!  After two days of work, I got my old Epson 4000 working and can now make prints 17 inches wide again.  Ten years ago, on John's 50th birthday, I took the top pic of John with the boys.  He asked if we could try to recreate it this year on his 60th birthday, (bottom image). Glad I could make another 17x17 inch print and use the same paper I used to print the original image.  I think the new image will look great in his office next to the original

For Comment...

With temps as cold as they were today, I was not inclined to venture out. But while I was post processing my "Dark" images, I noticed this little crystal snowman on the mantle and the lamp close by was reflecting  the light in an interesting way. I don't know if it's good, bad, or indifferent, but I do know that I was warn sitting by the fireplace and "playing" with my computer.
