Mundane
The rules were HARD. Apparently my eye is caught by such a variety of everyday things that it was pretty impossible to find subjects that "I would never have considered creating and using in the past." Finding things that were "normally not very interesting to me" made me second guess and overthink EVERYTHING.
Considered these criteria when choosing your image{s):
1. The subject matter, content, components or other characteristics are such that you would never have considered creating an the image using it in the past.
2. While the subject matter is not that photogenic or normally not interesting to you, there is something about the image that does attract or speak to you at some level? That could be anything about the image or that it simple represents scene of "a day in a life."
3. The image should be presented as is without any coping or any other post processing.
So, I focused on finding a few images that were of ordinary, everyday, mundane things, but that something about them that seemed to elevate them while out and about, and BEFORE cropping, or any other post processing.
Standing Together
Standing Together - In our last meeting, Emily suggested a color version of this image. I thought I'd include the original image, ACR Edit, Color, B&W to show image evolution. Although I took this image in 2016, it was probably 2018 before I knew enough about editing to shape the output.

Mundane...
I struggled with this assignment. Prior to this, I don't think I've ever consciously, or intentionally, shot a mundane photo. While many have probably turned out that way, initially, there was some level of interest that caused me to click the shutter.
These three are straight out of the camera and have not been edited, which is what I think Al wanted?
