Meg is thinking about doing some redecorating and when she is, she often asks me to help her out using Photoshop to help her visualize the possible changes. This go around she had two projects. One was changing out the chandelier in her dining room (Silas splashed red paint on the old one) and the other was to add some sconces to the side of the living room to bring in some additional light. She sends me the picture of the room as it is, sends a pic of what she would like to add and asks me to put together a composite showing the changes. Below are the two latest projects.

For Comment - Mostly Verticals
This odd little shot got more comments than usual on IG and FB. Perhaps it struck a chord. Here's what I said:
I was taking this shot to play with all of the verticals including two steeples, along with the wires and all the stuff we kind of don’t “see”. This can help us make it through the day of course, not seeing, but even though in my mind the steeple is saying “there’s another way, seek and you will find” - the juxtaposition of the steeples with the grind of daily life suggests that we won’t hear this call.
Along these same lines (at least in my mind) are some other recent shots

For Comment...
October and November mean Fall, which means vibrant colors, falling leaves, and a special feeling in the air. I enjoy coming upon "found" photo opportunities in nature.
Crepe myrtle leaves fall around the base of the tree.
Oak leaves land on a car during a rain shower.
Leaves within leaves.
