Our emails yesterday regarding Sam Abell made me think of this image. Re-work from 2016 trip to Oregon. This was selected by Sam Abell for the online exhibit at Photoplace Gallery in 2017 for "The Decisive Moment". I love Sam Abell's work and have a couple of his books.

Wow Jo, this is a terrific image. I can see why Sam Abell chose if for the competition. I also REALLY like your edit. It increases the mood of the image, brings out some detail in the rock in the background and the beach in the foreground. It also is a big improvement for me to see the horizon line to be perfectly straight and horizontal. Great capture of the decisive moment.
