I have been most interested in using generative fill to salvage some images made through the front windows of closed barbershops. I will not try to explain that here but attached is one of the many complicated images that content aware fill is just unable to deal with but generative fill is.

Flat out amazing! I've shared some old vacation photo's with Leigh and Meg and similar to your post, we all agree generative fill is recreating images as we remember seeing them and not just what came through the lens of the camera.
