Unplanned...
Following Al's program last month I've become a big fan of William Eggleston's photographic style, I choose to not use the word "mundane", but rather "unplanned". None of these photos was planned more than a few seconds before I shot them.
It's usually quiet in my little corner of the world. Days come and go in the life of my family.
My view at breakfast is a calm start to the day.
Ninety-five percent of the time my grandsons are the best of friends.
Baseball is almost a daily ritual all Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Sonic Slushes taste better in the back of Pop's old truck.
Artwork and lunch all in one.
A boy has to have his wheels.
The Donut Shop's a must stop after Sunday School.
One minute it's the adventure of climbing a tree, the next, it's 7 hours in the ER with a broken wrist.
Most days end with the house quiet for a moment of needed solitude.
Mundane Musings
Are in fact these "weeds" - ? Or meadows, or fields, or.... unplanned wildflowers ..... or untidy overgrowth...... or? While some of the scenes below give us a restful feeling of grace, others might call out for trimming and weeding. Maybe.......
